*Unlike most of the half-Orc species, Shadow Wraith didn’t have to grow up in persecution. Although he has gray skin, pointed ears and crimson eyes, but he lacks the more harder features of his Orcan heritage. However, he is keenly aware of what people think of his species but just continues on with his life, dismissing those that look down on him as ignorant and sad folk.Shadow Wraith is even tempered and always thinking ahead, before a fight. He studies races and war history to grow even better at his craft. He cares not to take sides in any conflict but usually, when forced into involvement, he tends to make the logical decision, regardless of what others think. He is his own person and enjoys that freedom in life. Shadow Wraith was born as, Davor Chorster. His mother was an Orcan slave, brought to Varisia, by boat on the Inner Sea. She had a truly stunning look, not at all traced with the rough features of true blood Orcs which she was. She was bought by Davor’s human father , for farm work help. She worked hard, without complaint. Through the years, a romantic relationship was formed and eventually, Davor was conceived. Davor was always larger than his childhood friends, growing up. He was very athletic but his strength came from farm chores and Orcan genes. He always enjoyed using farm tools for weapons and learned to use them well, during play. His father, being a retired soldier, also helped teach him moves and counter moves. This childhood, set Davor on his lifelong knowledge quest of weapons and combat mastery. When he was 8 years old, Kol Kodranson, commander of the Ulfen Guard, noticed Davor in his father’s fields, shadow fighting. The commander noted the obvious muscular build and speed in which Davor moved. The commander spoke with Davor’s parents and convinced them that, the universities and military schools would give him the best chance of success in life. Once Davor arrived in Taldor, he was secretly trained to join the Ulfen Guard. At the age of sixteen, he was allowed to join the guard, where he took no time in advancing to a high rank. He was always faster and bigger than the rest of his class. As he succeeded in his new career, he became well known for his exploits and protection of the Taldoran prince and was an honored member. Once he reached a rank of General, he was allowed to pick where he would like to work. Davor, having grown bored of being unchallenged anymore, chose to be a recruiter, traveling to distant areas to find prospects for the Ulfen Guard. His parents had died 4 years ago so he had no more ties to the area. While looking for prospects one day, Davor came across a Magus. The gentleman was much older but had tremendous skill in weapons much like Davor but, the fighter also used magic, mixed in with his fighting styles. Intrigued by this newfound style, Davor studies under this warrior, for years, until the warrior’s death. Davor acquires the warriors weapon, a rod, as a final gift, from the warrior. Davor continues on his training knowing, it will be a lifelong quest. He still does his job as a member of the Guard but, his passion now lies with his Magus training challenge. He travels near and far and, upon finding a prospect, sends them on a journey back to Taldor, with the royal signed papers. Otherwise, he is content with never going back unless called upon.
